Lords of Sylen is a French metalcore band based in Lyon. The group consists of five young musicians, aged 22 to 25, all originally from the Lyon area. Friends since high school, Nicolas (vocals) and Léo (keyboard) founded the band from the remnants of Nicolas’ solo project, "KAPLAN." Their vision took shape when they met Luc (guitar), who immediately became a key pillar of their sound. In 2023, the band solidified its lineup and began writing their debut album
With the arrival of Arno (drums) and Axel (bass), Lords of Sylen was finally complete, ready to hit the stage. They are now actively booking shows and entering music competitions to bring their sound to live audiences.
Their debut album, "The Reign of Hades," blends elements of modern metal, numetal, and electronic music, creating a sound that is both intense and melodic. Set for release in early 2025, the album draws inspiration from Modern Metal, while also incorporating influences from rock legends. Lords of Sylen crafts powerful, catchy riffs, balancing brutal breakdowns with epic, soaring choruses.
